ABOUT

I am a freelance Scenic Artist based just north of London who graduated in 2020 with a Distinction in Fda Scenic Art and Prop Making from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. From frequently visiting the Theatre from a young age to studying Drama throughout my entire school life I have always known I wanted to be part of such a thriving industry. My interest in the Arts has only deepened my passion for this profession and I am constantly striving to learn and develop as many skills as I can in my chosen field.

I am an extremely hard worker and I started my own small business (de la Mare BAKES) in 2020 selling bespoke cakes and various other treats. I love baking and this allowed me to explore a different angle to my creative side. I feel my experience as a business owner has aided me with many transferable skills from communicating with customers, to organising and scheduling, to working to a design brief. I am confident in the fact that these all enhance my ability to be a great Scenic Artist, either as a leader or as working as part of a team.
